Chari Davenport was born in Denver, Colorado. She enjoys reading mysteries and had always dreamed of writing novels and becoming an author. Chari holds a BA and MS in Communications and hopes to one day complete a Ph.D. Chari is a divorced parent and says her greatest joy is raising her daughter. "I've always been a writer, even as a child I used to write and illustrate short comic strips. I've been reading mysteries since I could read a book. I started with children's mysteries and then moved on to more challenging material. I read them all and one day I decided to try my hand at writing one and I'm glad I did!" The Birthday Party: Family Reunions Can Be Murder! is Chari's third novel. "I plan to have a series of novels, I love writing them and I look forward to creating a collection of wonderful whodunits!"
