"Craig Akino is not a nice man. He's rude, crude, cruel, and abusive. But he is also not totally unaware of his shortcomings. Once a year, at Christmas time, he throws an annual bash with the primary purpose of apologizing for his boorish, mean behavior. Only this year something goes dreadfully wrong. Someone is not willing to accept his annual apology and decides to get even, resulting in deadly consequences. Christmas Party is a nice little cozy that is easy to read and easy to follow. The plot is engaging and the characters the type that you will either love, or love to hate. All in all, Christmas Party would make a wonderful travel companion, or even make for a great escape all on its own."

Nancy Marie is the author of When You Wish Upon A Star.

"I'm thrilled that the novel was well received," commented Christmas Party author Chari Davenport. The Christmas Party is the first in what Davenport hopes will be an enjoyable series of classic whodunits!
